This RC-72T&RC-72R universal ceiling fan remote control kit works with most 110V 3-speed AC ceiling fans, compatible with Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay, Hunter, Home Decorators Collection, Honeywell, Litex, and other major ceiling fan brands. It is suitable for most downrod-style fans, but not recommended for use with hugger-style fans. The remote is compatible with all incandescent light bulbs and some dimmable LED lamps, but most LED lights and all CFL lights are not dimmable, and the remote only controls the on/off function in those cases.

Setting up the remote control is easy. First, set the DIP number "1234" on the transmitter and receiver to the same position. The separate dial "0/D" is used as a dimming option, and if the bulb supports dimming, select "D"; otherwise, select "0". The default setting is 0000, which is not recommended. If you have a pull-chain switch, use it to turn the wind speed to maximum and turn the fan light on before using the wireless remote control. Finally, install a 12V battery (not included) in the remote, and you can now control your fan.
